Contemplating the Human Spirit

{July 23, 2007}   A toast to J.K. Rowling…

Sooo finally the much awaited 7th book of the harry potter series has come out…Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. i still havent read it but i’ve already read the raving reviews and everyone knows it that the potter-mania is not just “hype” or superficial… dude it actually is worth ALL THAT ATTENTION. J.K ROWLING HAS INDEED CREATED SUCH A MASTERPIECE… its ALL HATS OFF TO HER. My sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratefulness to her for coming up with such a classic series as the Harry potter in my lifetime. She really does portray all the human emotions in such a perfect manner. Its just fascinating, and I’m full of awe of her!

The best thing about this is whole timing thing is that…i seem to be growing along with Harry (and Daniel Radcliffe for that matter)… the seventh book i.e Harry is seventeen and so is daniel radcliffe and so am I ! yeaa i noe very lame ..but watev! i like to make my self feel special. Harry has been always nearly my age with every release of the book. :)

Enough about me and what i think! :) i am gonna go into the character analysis and more importantly the excellent portrayal of human emotions by Rowling. Albiet, what this inexperienced teenage is writing is all worthless ramblings but i feel compelled to write my analysis whether it is of any use or not.

The other day i came across this article in Time Magazine written by i believe Lev Grossman. He said that Rowling’s war wasn’t between good or evil, rather it was a war between love and evil. Will continue my input on this later…
